Don’t Become a
HazCom Statistic!

“What is HazCom?”
“Keeping up with MSDS is too difficult!”
“Hazard Communication is really not that big a deal.”

It is virtually impossible to comply with OSHA’s Hazard Communication standard.  In fact, I am willing to guess that, if OSHA sent an inspector to any worksite in the US, they would quickly and easily find HazCom violations.  Is it any wonder that, year-after-year, it is one of the most frequently cited violations by OSHA inspectors?

Before your eyeballs roll back in your head and you throw up your hands in defeat, stay with me!  We’re going to take a brief look at the standard and how you can avoid becoming another OSHA HazCom statistic!

Read on for what to do to reduce that stress

November’s Safety Webinar
Hazard Communication: Avoiding OSHA’s Hot Burner

Hazard Communications is always one of the most frequently cited violations by OSHA.  (The first is scaffolding.)  More importantly, a mistake made with chemicals could cost one of your workers his/her life. Every company - even office settings - utilize or store chemicals on premises.  January is the perfect time to review your HazCom procedures and update MSDS, so we are offering this timely webinar to help you better understand:

  • What the purpose of Hazard Communications is.
  • That colors, numbers, letters and symbols on chemical labels mean something.
  • Why HazCom is important.
  • What MSDS is.

Join us for this informative Safety Webinar and protect your workers from chemical hazards.

We will again utilize our new Safety Resources and our new webinar host that allows video capability.   Click the “Register Now” button below and you will receive a link that will connect you directly to the webinar on November 25.
