The entire CBR team of HR outsourcing professionals subscribes to the belief
that giving back to the community and the world is not just a kind service, but is an obligation for those who are able. In that spirit, CBR is involved corporately and individually
in several non-profit organizations and charities, such as:
Having been involved with the Phoenix Rescue Mission in the past, nothing excited CBR more than being able to participate in the organization’s annual “Fill-A-Box, Feed-A-Family” food drive. The program provides food to needy families during the holidays and this year, not only did our staff donate time, money, and food supplies, but many of CBR’s valued clients contributed food items as well. In total we donated more than 1,000 pounds to Phoenix Rescue Mission and the Valley families its helps during the holidays. During these tough economic times we know that our hard work will pay off when hundreds of families get fed this Thanksgiving. One of our most treasured community service activities is working together as a staff at the warehouse for Project C.U.R.E. at least twice
a year
and many employees choose to serve on their own time too. Hope is brought by packaging
up unused medical supplies (brand new), often discarded by American
hospitals and medical facilities for more current supplies, and
sending them to countries in need. What is otherwise disposable
to Americans can save lives in other countries. CBR is proud to be a part of this life-saving effort. If you would like to see some of the team in action, view recent photos here. If you would like to get
involved, visit their website at www.projectcure.org.
CBR is named the first PEO in Arizona to be honored as a BBB Ethics Award Finalist for 2006 and 2007. This award applauds employers as they strive to ensure that ethics remains a driving force in their business.
